Are there any soft plugs inside the engine or timing gear cover that might be my problem? Tractor runs good and not blowing any antifreeze through exhaust stack. This is not a seepage, but loses a large amount of coolant quickly. Engine is H-260. Tractor Ser# is 16180, around a '48. Does this engine have wet or dry sleeves?

more then likely it's the sleeve O rings best way to tell is drain oil and pull oil pan and look and you will see the one or ones that are leaking. not as likely could be head gasket or a crack some place but i'll bet it's the O rings
