MF-204 Reverse-O-Matic

I have MF-204 Reverse-O-Matic that all of a sudden will not go forward or backward without pausing for several minutes. Trans oil was low which I filled to the proper level. This didn't help. Is there anyway to adjust, or is this a more serious problem. Any help would be appreciated.

HI Tim According to how old the tractor is it could have a place to attach a gauge to check the pressure. They also have a filter in the large plate that bolts to the bottom of the transmission it sounds like that filter may be about plugged. You could have some bad seals causing it to take a long time for the pressure to build up enough to close the clutch packs. There also are two pressure regulator valves that may be sticking.
