I"m going to paint the engine and chassis on my Massey 65 tractor, I notice Massey has two different silver/grey paints. Which one do I use the lighter more silver one?..or Darker grey one? Thanks

The only grey on your 65 is the Flint Metallic.
The newer 165 and others had both the Flint and
silver mist. The wheels are red and the rear rims
are silver.

It was my understanding that Massey also has a metal flake flint gray plus a flint gray. The metal flake was used for the MF65 and flint gray would be used on older Massey Harris models? My Massey dealer wanted me to use the Metal Flake for the front/rear end, transmission and engine. They told me to use the silver mist for the wheels.

I am not sure what the difference is between the two Flint Grays. To my knowlege, the only M.H. with metalic gray was the 40. I agree with the Silver Mist for the back rims. I wish my nephew would jump in here.
