Ok, I think this was explained before, and not to be a jerk, but here goes. As I am sure you know, in 1953 the year after the Ford v Ferguson lawsuit was over, the Fergie Co. merged with Massey-Harris Ltd of Canada, so Massey-Harris-Ferguson was formed. In 1959 the company became Massey-Ferguson Ltd/Co. So, your M-H-F stands for the first corprate name of the merged companies. That tractor isn't an oddball - those from what I undestand they were quite popular and the Z134 engine block was used on the Fergie 35, MF 35, and the MF 135 Special. How does it compare to the Ford 1000 and 2000? Not sure, but I do know that the Ford 3000 is a lot like my MF 135 deluxe in terms of its capablities. Understand though, the MHF/MF 202 is an industrial tractor and was supposedly to be used in a different capasity than a traditional AG tractor, like more heavy duty stuff, road repair, mowing, and whatever else could be cooked up. I belive they were supplanted by the MF 40 which lasted until the 135 production run ended in 1975 - they shared the basic sheet metal as the 135.

I apologize if I come across as redundant, however I do hope this helps you out.

It won't be an oddball. I think some early 202's had a hood like a North American MF35. Most models had a cast upper housing and a grille with round holes in it. Does yours have power steering with a non-adjustable front axle? Have you tried a search in the Tractor Photos?

A 202 is basically an industrial 35.
