I have a Massey Harris 44. I want to put a 12 volt system on it. Is there a system out there that is easy to put on. My 44 has factory power steering so I need to be able to transfer pulleys or something so I can keep my power steering. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The best thing to do is to take you generator in and have it rewound for a 12v negative ground. I did this to both my 20 and 55. Get a new voltage regulator with it. It should show the diagram on it how to wire it for neg ground. The starter should be fine with 12v to it. Both of mine were. This looks clean and original, and there is no fabricating brackets to fit a car alternator.
