Hi gang, I am working on the power steering on my 202 ind. it is about the same as a mf 35, but has rams mounted on axle instead of cylinder on gear, the pump and control valve are the same, my question is about the check valve that is supose to be in the control valve, the i&t manual shows it and the operators manual says there is one there on the return port of the control valve "in case of power failure oil can be expelled from cylinders" but it is not in my control valve, and the massey parts manual does not show it, the valve has been apart before, I can see the nut has been restaked, but steering has never worked right since i got the tractor, every thing looks real good in control valve and the pump is at 1100 psi deadheaded, the steering works intermittently but never real strong, gear is not binding and rams are new and plumbed correctly, spindles have new buhings and bearings,i am stumped! any ideas? Thanks, Gregg
