80W90 in the rear and and 10w in the hydraulic tank.

As a small C collector of MH tractors up here in Ontario, it does seem that there isn't the interest in the bread and butter MH tractors,
ie; 30 33 44. I have a 30 and a 44 and I think they are very underated as all round solid machines. They are strong, well made, user friendly and generally easy to get parts for. I use my 44 and wouldn't trade it for the world.
I guess one problem is that there were lots of these models made. I think people are missing the boat, but thats just one ""old iron" guys opinion.

There was something like 10,000 MH33's built between 1952 and 1955. However there doesn't seem to be a lot of collectors interested in them.

Is there something about the 33 that makes them
unpopular?

Well Gerry, I just wanted an old tractor just to do some basic stuff and found a great deal on my MH33. Maybe a Farmall might have been classier..... ...I do have an old JD520.....I have noticed that when the 'tractor guys' are around, they pay a lot more attention to the 520 than my 33. Maybe MH just didn't make an attractive machine..... ..... .mine runs perfectly and always gets the job done. You are right, a 22 or 44 would be worth more money than the 33 for some reason, but there is nothing wrong with the 33!

MHF management was in constant chaos, following
the 1953 merger. Lack of product support, then
the 1957 phase-out of MH tractors, hurt popularity
of these correct red models. Currently, if you
compare the colors of five or six decades ago,
MH restored models offer an interesting tractor,
especially when equipped with options offered.
It is a lucky man, who can own a restored Massey-
Harris tractor, with authentic detail.
