As some of you know by now I have just started to rebuild a very early TO-35. Most folks I have talked with have told me the correct stock colors are Red, Gray and Dark Gray. As I start to take off the ugly yellow it is painted now I keep finding a Metallic Green (it seems to be an original paint layer).

Was this stock?? Does anyone know the correct colors for the TO-35? Do you have a color picture?

Regards,
Bob

Sounds like you have one of the Old TO-35's that was
painted with green chassis and the sheet metal a cream color. I own a 1955 model that was that color

I think they did it for about two years, then switched
to Red for the sheet metal and flint metalic grey
for the chassis.....any good paint store should come
up with a match for ....good luck.

howdy, the 55 and 56 to-35's were painted green
with grey sheet metal. i know we had one. i still
think it was the prettiest color scheme.by the way, tractor books
can get you the original paint numbers.

Hi guys,

I believe this is an early TO-35 it is serial # 141779 6 volt positive ground gas. As I take off more of the yellow paint I have found green on the aircleaner and a few other parts. I have also found red on the engine. Do you have any more details on colors? How about where I can get a color picture of one of these old 35's

Regards,
Bob
