Ran across a ferguson 40 from an estate deal,
excellent original yellow paint,no dents,low
profile,28" rubber.I need to know some idea of
what it's worth. I've seen 40'S with 38" rubber,
but this is the first 28".I have a MH 50 with
840 original hours,thought this would make a nice
pair. Thanks.

The Ferguson 40 is identical to the M-H 50 and the M-F 50, except they have slightly different hoods and front grills, and of course colors. The Ferguson 40 hood design was later used for the British M-F 65, but with horizontal front grill/screening. The Detroit M-F 65 Had the same design as the M-F 50. The M-H 50 was unique as it had "Massey-Harris dimples" on each side of the hood. We don't have many used tractors here in so.Nevada so I can't tell you the value of the Ferguson.
