Serial Number on Pony is PGA 3353. What year was it made? I checked serial link to the left, but this number doesn"t match what is shown there.

Transmission case 850095-M. Thanks.

I thought the "PGS" meant STANDARD front axle, and "PGA" meant ADJUSTABLE front axle. I also thought the adjustable axle wasn"t available until 1950, but the guys on here told me they had earlier Ponys with adjustable axles. So, is the serial number list wrong (as far as PGS or PGA), or am I mistaken about the standard/adjustable thing? Can anyone steer me straight on this? ...Stan

Stan, my Pony is 1948, early, and mine is a PGA, ajustable. The ser. number thingie on this site is wrong. I picked up the Massey Tractor Data Book, and I trust that more, but I have found mistakes in the book tool

well, it says 1949. They must have changed to PGA around 3353.

thanks. Looking at the chart, I thought PGA serial numbers started with 1 and were five digits.
