Hello,
My father just purchased an old Massey-Harris tractor that he's had his eye on for many years. I am trying to locate a manual for him but I need to figure out what model of M-H it is. He brought me over a piece of paper the other day with the numbers 44-GR and 20547 he said these were the model and serial numbers. I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me what year and what the model number would be. I have seen many 44G and 444 tractors but no 44 GR. It's possible the tag was rusty and he couldn't make it out clearly. Does the #'s 20547 help in determaining any info?
We also have a 1955 Massey Ferguson TO-35 Diesel. We've had it for several years and it's a great tractor (what a workhorse). We are having trouble finding parts anymore for it. Does anyone know a good source for old M-F parts. I'm going to check the listing at this site but I thought if anyone had some suggestions from past dealings, it would be great.
Thanks for any help.
Scott

We have a Massey Harris 44-GR Serial# 9025
What year is this?
What horsepower?
What type of lift does this have,we do not have the depth-o-matic. It is a lift arm coming out behind and below the seat. Has a half moon shaped guard around the arm.
Did they have a standard 4" bore and was there a bigger size available up from the 4" bore?
