1130 PROBLEMS

I am buying a 1130 is there any common problems with them i should look for? Anything really serious like the v-8 trans problem? any help would be appreciated thank you

1130 Massey,s Dont have the Perkin,s V8 in them,
I just wanted to tell you this so you not misled, or dissapointed in your search for an 1130,
They do have the 354 ci six in them though,
And they sound pretty good,
as far as the tranny problem,s go,
I dont think there will be anything wrong with the tranny,s on the 1130,s
their tough as nail,s,
the only reason that you would have a glitch in them ,is if the former owner didnt change oil in them on time, or abused it to the point of not workimg at all.
On the V8,s,the metal O ring,s get rough with age,and when they are pushed against the rubber seal,s,they start to leak,if the O ring,s arnt
smoothed out on the inside,with an emery cloth.
