I would never give up my Pony. Even though I have a 44 the pony is good for the small stuff. It has plenty of power for plowing snow but you need to keep up with it. It wont plow like a dozer. I have an 8 foot blade on the front of mine and it pushes just fine. I need to rebuild my engine and hydraulics though. It has a hard time lifting the plow when its hot. I use the pony for doing yard work, skidding cut trees and limbs and hauling stone and dirt in a 4 wheel wagon. Id buy another if it came at the right price. I paid 600 for mine but had to change it back to 6 volt. Starts reeeal easy. There is absolutely no reason to change to 12 volt.

A price of $600 seems very moderate. When did you buy it for this price? I'm trying to get a value for the Pony I own.
Appreciate your feedback.

We owned a Pony for many years. The parts are very easy to find, so no problem there. It can be used to push snow around, as long as the snow isn't too deep or too heavy. We had a little trouble pulling a single bottom plow in heavy soil, but it did fine in light soil. If you keep the engine in good shape so it's up to full power it can accomplish lighter tasks and some medium tasks with ease.

Here are some specs:
