Price of MF 255

I am looking at a MF 255 and would like to know what a fair price range would be. It has a Perkins 236 diesel with 3400 hours. Tires look fair. Could use a paint job. Also has a full hydrualic loader. The owner says the year is 81-82. Is the engine known to be reliable? How about starting in winter? Any information would be helpfull.

I have a 245... It also had a loader until the front axle yoke got broken.. I'd take a careful look at the front axle and mounting hardware... I think the 255 is pretty similar to the 245 in construction.

The Perkins engine is a gem.. It will start if you give it a hard glance.
