I just picked up a MF50 lp and I'm trying to figure out how to start it. There is a liquid valve and a vapor valve. Which valve should be on for starting/running? I cleaned the points and am getting good fire now. The tractor will fire on ether, but won't run. I don't think I have propane flowing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm assuming that you already verified that your LP Tank is full or has some propane. From what I know you start your Tractor on Vapor, then you switch to liquid after engine warmed up. On new 2 stage Converters (new retro-fit)you have a primer button to get propane into LP system which is what I have. I don't think that you can prime original LP Systems. Maybe someone else has a different information.
