I have posted this before, but can't find the postings now. I will be needing a rebuildable grain/bean head for a massey harris 60 pt (says clipper 60 on name tag) combine. The rest of the combine appears to be in decent shape (at least fixable (mainly dents). This is my grandpa's old combine and I would like to get it working again. The header is bent beyond repair where the owners of the land pushed it into a fence row with a loader tractor. I would also be interested in a corn head if anyone has one. I was told a head from a 60 sp might fit on this and since they had corn heads available ..... I am almost done with my truck restoration so I am about ready to start on this.
Thanks for any help

I have a MH 72 pt combine which is a newer version of a 60, it has a grain head and a windrow pickup that will fit your 60. You can have it for the taking but I am probably to far from you. I am in Sask Canada.----- Harold

I may be interested, but I have to finish my other projects first, and I have to go get the combine. Do you have any pictures of the header so I can compare. Is it in pretty good shape?
My wife and I would just make a vacation out of it. I have never been out of the states and would like to sometime.
Thanks

There is not anything wrong that a handyman couldnt repair. I dont have any picturs and if I took some I wouldnt know how to send them.I am quite sure they interchange because I used to own a 60. The thing to do is to check a parts book of both cimbines. By the way, where are you located?----- Harold
