Poor neibor was tring to move this 14 ft X 70 ft Mobil Home onto his place on a steep narrow dirt road. He had a Ford Major hooked to it and blew out a old tire. Well I offerd to try with my MF135 and they hitched it up to the Draw Bar and I headed off with it! About 2 miles later with a Case Back Hoe chained on once or twice to me on the real steep dirt trails we made it!! It never over heated and suprised me how well it did the job! At times I had to use the Differential Lock to keep it moving in the soft dirt when the Mobil Home hitch dug into the ground on some rolling hills & bumps on the road. The Tonge load was heavy enought that the Case Loader had a hard time lifting the coupler up onto the tractor and glad I had the loader on the front of mine for the extra weight to steer it! I even have more faith in what one of these can do now if you try! Mark H.

Sounds like it would have been some thing to do with a crawler instead of a wheel tractor. But I have been there done that and its not fun but it makes you think about what these old tractors will do and how easy it is to get hurt doing so.

Your right!! A Dozer would have been better. I was glad for Low Range 1st Gear so I could go slow. I did have a good draw bar made out of 1 inch thick steel going under the tractor & tied into the PTO Mount for the Ball to hook to. I would never recomend this to anyone!!!! The guy did not have the money to rent a dozer let alone a mover and was down on his luck. He had just worked off $1,000.00 for the mobil to live in and got it from down the street when they bought a new one. Mark H.

Yep know how that goes I did the moble home moveing things years ago and it was not fun. Even pulled them cross country out of a factory and when you do it and find out the only brakes you have are on the truck you think about how crazy the guys are that pul them. I have even broke draw bars on tractors by doing what you did and then its can be a real mess.

There was times the hitch was folding sideways on the trailer! I was not sure it would hold up a few times. I figured the trailers hitch would go befor mine and I was lucky this time! It will be the last time also. Don't want to break me or my tractor! Mark H.
