Definetly remove the tire off the trumpet first. You do not want all that weight working against you when it comes apart. You could mess up seals, knock it off the blocks ect if things start to fall. You also have to pry it apart and sliding the tire would make it even harder to do. Mark H.

Hi George Sorry but there is no easy way to replace the brakes on the MF175. You first must remove the tires and wheels then remove the axle housing the brakes are in the inside end of the axle housing. I have pictures that show how it is done. If you would like to have them email me with an email address I can send them to.

Your right! It is not easy since I just did it to my Orchard that has disk brakes!! Once all the hard part is done the pads are easy to remove. Mark H.

Not sure posibley you could find out with the Trumpet part number, serial number of the tractor and take that information to the dealer to have them look it up in there parts book. Mark H.
