Engine Serial# vs. Tractor Serial#

I just got a MF 2135 from my uncles estate and I can not find a serial# on the instrument panel. The engine serial# is "Z 134 757761". Can this be reversed to identify the approx. year that the tractor should have been built? How far ahead of production were the engines made? Can other components be identified that will narrow the time frame? I have also identified through the repaint that it has a model 200 loader. The plates are missing from it as well. I would like to have a backhoe attach. for this and have seen a model 212 in brochures. I can not see how they attach, yet I believe they would pin or bolt to the extended rear frame of the loader where it extends beyond the rear of the axle housings. Is this correct and would a newer type of hoe mount similar?
