Paint the block - what paint?

Got all but the engine primed on my MF135.
What about the engine....what paint do I need. Is there special high heat primer? Will the same Flint Gray paint I'm using for the rest of the tractor work or do I need a high heat version of that too?

What happens if I just use the 'regular stuff'? How long will it last?

Appreciate your immediate reponse.

I painted the block on my 101 Senior with single stage urathane from Napa. It all held up well except the exhaust manifold burned off immediately after starting. You can use a high heat paint, but it'll probably burn off the manifold too, because it just gets too hot

Most paints I see hold up on engine blocks and still keep there gloss unless its something really cheap. As far as the manifolds go I been using Caterpillar muffler paint and its been staying on great. I have one tractot I use a good bit and its been on there for 5 years and it still lokks like I just put it on.
