Looks like a Workbull 203 or 205. If it has Instant Reverse it"s a 205. The IR trans shifted on the right hand foot pedal, no clutch and brakes on left. Loader looks like a 100/101/102 nice machine!

Thanks for your reply"s

will put the pictures up here for folks to see,
in lieu of the links.

mine has instant reverse lever under steering wheel. i don"t have instant reverse foot pedals.
also brake pedal on right, clutch on left.

I was thinking mf203 or mf205 because of front grill (thick plate with a bunch of holes drilled in it) and the headlight holes and some pics of other 203/205"s i have seen.

i found the stamped perkins serial number
s/n CL 1884032 which falls into the 1959
manufacture date (per some website that had perkins s/n"s and years).

does this make sense for the mf 203/205 workbull?

thanks again
appreciate all replys.

MF203 with manual shuttle transmission planetary rear axle with disc brakes. Do you know if it has dual clutch? do you know if it has the indirect injected 3cyl diesel or the direct injected 3cyl diesel(this would be a late model)

gary,
thanks for the reply.

Not sure if it has dual clutch?
how does one check?
when i press the clutch i can't feel anything different as it goes about 1/2 way down.

the injectors are hidden under the sheetmetal/diesel tank. i will follow up the fuel lines and see if i can see if they are straight up or not.

thanks

If you get some type of weight on the 3-point and lift it up. Press the clutch pedal down half-way just so you are able to shift the trans chances are if the weight on the 3-point goes down it is single clutch. You can also check by engaging the PTO. Engage the PTO then start the tractor (don't push down on the clutch pedal)the PTO shaft should be turning. Depress the pedal to the point that you are able to shift the trans and check the shaft to see if it stops or rotates if it's stopped chances are single clutch if it's still turning then it most likely is dual clutch. Even if it's a dual clutch some loader operators who did not use the 3point or PTO could have changed the adjustment on the clutch pedal so that it only goes down half way and stops. I guess it was easier on the leg by reducing the tendancy to depress both sets of clutch springs. I looked for one of these tractors but found a MF40 instead

Looks a lot like my MF40 (no suffix letter - 3 Cyl Perkins) and 32 loader, except that mine has no steering box and drag links to the front axle - just a pair of steering cylinders behind the front axle.

Looks like you might have a MF20(1969-75) or MF40(1970-76) w/ the AD3-152 engine. Check the specs on the link.

Do you have Big Deans website? He has a section on the industrials.
