My lift doesn/t move at all until the lever is alomost all the way to the top. Then the full range of motion takes place in about 1 inch of lever travel. Makes it difficult to boxblade. Is this an adjustment or some other problem? Thanks.

You didn't say what tractor you have but , if it has draft control , make sure the draft control lever is all the way in the up position.

Whilst I'm not a tractor GURU (Like Big Dean), I can say that it helped a lot to change the oil in my rear end. I don't recall you saying what tractor you had, but I think it's pretty close to the same on my 2135 as on most MF tractors.

I drained BOTH plugs in the tractor (on the left side below the shifter and roughly below the seat. Then I pulled off the PTO engage lever and reached inside and clipped the wire holding the filter . I pulled out the filter and rinsed it off with Diesel. Then I filled the rear end with Diesel and started it up and drove a few feet and operated the lift and engaged the PTO. It took less than a minute. Then I drained out the diesel from BOTH plugs and refilled it with 90 weight oil (or whatever is specified for your tractor). It worked great!
