Took a while to get the hang of using the bucket but I worked on my Island in the center of my dry lake bed. Built a 30' X 20' X 7' ft high island in the middle in a couple hours. Moves a lot of dirt but took a while to learn how to keep it from digging in and stopping the tractor. Now if we get some rain or heavy snow this year to stop our 7 year drought I might have a lake around it again!! Decided to shorten the spears to just 6" rippers cause I am afraid if I mount them at 18" they will just get snapped off if they dig in. Glad I tested the bucket out befor putting them on. Not the best set up for real high piles of dirt but had not figured to do this with it either but it did get the job done. Happy with the end resault tho! The picture is of my Lake when it is full of water and the Island is now in the center of the large are for the ducks to nest on some day. I would like to plant a Willow Tree on it when the water comes back!! Mark H.

The Island is about right under that Helicopter dipping water out of it to fight a fire not far away. This is the first year it has been dry after winter so I had a chance to build it. Mark H.
