My 165 stopped running. I bled lines and ran fine for 20 minutes then stopped. Today I changed all my filters (both of the fuel filters and air filter) and I can't get the system bled. I had problems with my primary filter bleed screw but finally got it bled out. Now my secondary won't bleed. Its getting fuel into the filter and pressurizing it but nothing is coming out of the bleed valve. Once the filter itself gets pressurized my primer lever stops pumping. Any ideas?

Are you talking about the bleed screws on the Injection pump if you can't get fuel out of them you have something stopped up. Try pulling the bleeder screw out complete and see if you can pump fuel through those bleeder screws.

Thanks for your follwo up Dean. No, I haven"t even gotten to the injector yet. I can"t get the bleed valve on the secondary filter to bleed. All of the bleed valves worked fine last week. Thanks, Dave

Dave you can bleed both filters and the lines by opening the bleeder screws on the injection pump. That is how I have always bled them. I never used the bleeder on the filters at all. I have a picture that shows the way I always bleed them I can email you if you will send me an email address.
