I got atruck load of part that is suposed to be a mf31 . it took me 5 years a lot of money but i got all the pieces together. the only problem is that it does not start. the injectors and the fuel punp are rebuilt. i have primed the fuel system and have fuel to both bleed ports on the injector pump but no fuel at the injectors. it will fire on starting fluid but i don't want to do that for very long. any ideas?

Have you loosened a nut that holds the line to an injector then cranked it over? Do this for each injector line. This should be the next part of the bleeding process after the injector pump is primed. is your pump/fuel shut off pushed in? any sign of smoke from the exhaust? You could get someone to give you a tow it's a lot easier on the battery and starter.

Do you have a small lift pump to get fuel to the main fuel pump? If that one works, and there is no fuel squirting out of an injector line, then your main pump needs an overhaul.
