My son-in-law asked me if I would check on my tractor line about his 33 Massey. He has done an excellent job rebuilding and restoring and is down to wiring , lights etc. Any body got a wiring diagram they can scan, e-mail or post for me to copy...thanks...Mike in Exeter Ontario

Michael, I dont have a wiring diagram for him but that wiring is very simple n basic.

I usualy run a 12 gauge red wire fed from the hot ungrounded battery post, often via the starter switch lug where the big battery cable attaches or the battery itself, to the Battery Supply terminal on an Ammeter,,,,, ,,,,from the ammeters other Load terminal I run 2 circuits, one wires to the BAT terminal on a Voltage Regulator or cutout relay, while the other feeds loads like lights n ignition usually by a wire or wires to the BAT input terminal on those switch(es). Then the switches IGN output feeds the ignition coil (other side of coil wires to distributor) while the light switches output feeds the lights.

On the VR its BAT up to load side of ammeter,,,,, ,,ARM (or GEN) to Gens Aem post,,,,, , FLD to Gens Field post.

This is very generic n may not fit exacly depending on how that tractors equipped, i.e. an Ammeter,,,,, ,, coil ignition or mag,,,,, 3 or 4 wire Voltage Regulator versus only a 2 wire cutout relay etc.

John T Nordhoff in Indiana, retired electrical engineer who usually lurks on the Mother Deere pages versus over here on the "dark side" lol
