Look on top of the belt pulley housing, it is stamped there on every triple I have or have seen.

Is that where they stamped them on the 444, I found most of the others next to the pto lever, never looked for one on a 444, just though they would be in the same place.....

Look on the top of the transmition next to the pto lever, you should find it stamped there you might have to clean some grease out of the way though, that is a pretty common spot to find them stamped when the tag is missing...
