MF 25 PTO Problem

When I connect a 5 ft mower to my MF 25, the PTO is extemely difficult to engage and once engaged, it disengages when RPM is increased. This is a recent purchase and I do not know much about it's history. Any suggestions as to the problem and possible fix ??? Thanks

Hank ,dont know if it will be much help, sounds like a bad PTO shaft. I have a MF25 and its been a real pain to get parts for it . its the same tractor as a MF 130 . if you want,feel free to call on the land line . 843 572 4264 maybe I can help

Here in Europe parts for the MF 25 are not very common but not so hard to get. Got a 25 myself but the MF dealer still has parts on stock (in a dark corner of his shop) and also the import company has.
Send an e-mail if I can be of any assistance allthough I realise that heavy parts can become expensive shipping them to your country.
