Well I finally purchased my first tractor. Been looking and lurking on this board for just about a year.
It is a 1963 MF202 Ind. (TLB), complete, original, and running but needs massive quantities of TLC. I hope not too much $$.
Backhoe is 185 , Loader is 200.
My intentions are to completely overhaul the tractor over the winter, for use on our homestead.
Paid 4000. delivered. Not complaining, or bragging. Be prepared for lots'a questions in the future. LOL.
I will be taking photos from the first bolt removal.
Currently looking to purchase original factory, parts, service, and operators manuals. Or will gladly pay for copies of originals.

Congratulations on purchasing the FINEST MF industerial tractor ever built (yes, I own one too). Mine has the model 200 loader and a 220 backhoe. I have the operators manual for the tractor, loader and hoe. Also the service manual for the loader and hoe. I also have the parts book for the tractor. My suggestion is to call your local MF dealer to order everything but, the hoe service manual. They aren't very expensive and are invaluable for any kind of work you might want to do. I can get the part numbers for them if you'd like. I'll gladly copy the service manual for the hoe for you. It actually covers 5 different models and the section for the 185 isn't that big. Send me an e-mail and we'll work out a plan.

Hey you should post some PICs of your new toy. I have one with a 220 backhoe, does anyone know what the diference is between the 185 and 220 hoe. I have an original Massey harris sales flyer that listed the 185 backhoe as an option for there tractors, the only diference that I can see is that the 220 was able to slide from one side of the mounting frame to the other.

Just bought a Hinomoto E280, which I"m told, is the same as the MF-220. It is only 2 cyl, can anyone tell me what the HP is?

How does a 2wd 220 do with a loader?
Is an after-market loader available?

The MF 220 we are refering to is the model of just the backhoe, 202 being the tractor.
