Hi Guys I am new to Masseys, I grew up on AC's that Had very simple hydraulics and no draft control. I just got a 1970 135 with the perkins gas engine and dual range (2 stick) trans. I got it running pretty well after cleaning out the fuel system it had been sitting for a while. I have no Idea how the hydraulics work as the labels are painted over. I can get the pto to spin but I can't get any response out of the 3 point, is it possible for one of these to lose it's prime or to get stuck? what does the lever by the hydraulic dipstick do, and how many positions does the pto shifter have? Sorry for so many Questions but I am still recovering financially from buying the New Battery and some tune up parts so I don't have enough scratch for the 3 manuals yet.T.J.

I forgot to add that it seems to have some type of auxiliary hydraulics, there are a couple of pipe nipples and elbows screwed together coming out of the middle of the left side of the trans cover that is plugged off and at the front right there is what looks to be a selector valve of some sort there is a shaft that goes into this valve and points in the direction of the seat and a port on the side of this valve that is also plugged. I am guessing one is a pressure and one is a return, there are no levers or knobs left on the valve. I hope this is the auxiliary setup and that I can still use it, it would be nice to be able to use the transport disc with the 135. Thanks again T.J.

It sounds like you have a diverter valve on the liftcover that uses the three point pump for remotes hydraulics. If you do the lever that is pointing back needs to be turned straight up. then the levers to your right move the outside lever all the way to the back then you should be able to use the Inside lever to raise and lower the three point. If I can be of further Email me
