Hi

Right side rear axle oil seal is leaking on MF-50
Is there a trick to avoid that the diff-lock
coupler to fall when retiring the axle...
or if we have to remove the trumpet to reinstall
the coupler.

Thanks in advance

I have removed and replaced the axle in a lot of them to change the seals and never had one of the coupler fall out of the fork. I never payed much attention when I had the trumpet housing off because I never had a problem with them falling off. I don't think there is enough room for it to get out of the fork with the trumpet housing in place. Just because it never happen to me don't mean that it can't happen . Big Dean

Thanks for your reply Big Dean

We will remove the axle with in mind the "possibility" of trumpet removal (yeah there is a loader on the tractor)

Many thanks for your help Dean
Greatly appreciated.
