No, I have not moved south. It's hot here in Eastern Ontario and when I walked by the MF35 today I noticed that its rear quarters were wet. Salty wet, spraying from a split in an old rear tire.

Down the road to the tire guy, brine gushing at every turn of the wheel. I borrowed his garden hose to wash myself and the tractor off. He'll have a new 6 ply on tomorrow for about what a set of tires for my 4Runner costs.

I guess it's better to replace an old, cracked tire before it fails, but the other one is new and I've been putting that one in all of the high-risk bush hogging areas. Now I'll have to be more careful with both.

Rod, my fellow Ontarian, good thing you caught it early. My rims had to be replaced on my 35. They had big rusted out areas from leaking tubes, and it sure rusted fast. That fluid is wicked stuff!!
