Ok I need some help, anyone have a MF repair manual 1448 812 M1 for a 65. I was given one along with the MF operator manual when I got my 59 MF65. It is a gas model but started life as an LP, but was converted some time in the past. Anyway back to the manual, I think some pages are missing. In Group 2 Conti Gas Engine I have
Part 1 Engine specs
Group 0 Sec P Part 1

Group 1 Sec A Part 3
Cylinder head

Group 1 Sec A Part 4
Cylinder block

That is all I have on the gas motor, all the diesel specs are in the next groups. I need timing cover views, time gear views, etc, etc. Are these pages not in this manual or are they just missing?? Any help out there.

What I don't have is any information as to what is behind the water pump, so I need how to align timing gears, etc. Never had one of these apart don't like jumping off a cliff....without a rope.

I have my book here at my desk and thats all I got too. I bought mine new from the MF dealer... Thus I bet that's all there is in that book. Defiantly looks like it is missing something, I just don't think they provide it now.

Yea I even have the plastic wrap and cardboard covers that it came in, just thought it would be kinda weird he would pull out those sections. Now the big question, where do you find the information on this motor?

I got my manual on monday and it is missing all of those sections as well. I called the publisher and they said that is all they have. So unless someone can come across an original at a yard sale, etc. we are somewhat pickled.

I did manage rebuilding the top end, carb, and distributor system this week using the spec chart, some good old shade tree know-how, and postings on this board. So dive in with a grin and have some fun.

BTW, the mf 65 is, my opinion, a lot easier to work on than my TO-20.
