I have an opportunity to get a MF65 for next to nothing. However, it's in rough shape. I'm an IH person, so I don't know too much about MF.

Is this a good model tractor? Worth restoring? Are parts available? This needs sheet metal. Can that be found?

sheet metal is very difficult to find. It's a 40-45 yr. old machine & most sheet metal has been cabbaged up long ago. However, there are 10's of thousands of them in daily use & if you're near one that blows up & gets junked out, you're in luck.

Sir, my name is jason, and I just bought a mf65 this past winter for some discing and and brushhogging on my 200 acres. I absolutly love it. I was pulling a 10' harrow disc with no problems at all, ran it for about 8 hrs and used about 5 gallons of gas. This is my only experience with tractors, my buddy has alot of experience with him and he says it's a damn good tractor. Mine is like a 1958 and I believe it puts out 46 hp.
