Don't know the reason why but one of the fan blades on my gas model mf65 banged against some part of the engine and broke off then put a good size hole in the radiator. So how come when i looked at 4 different parts suppliers i see radiators and thermostats for diesel mf 65's but can't find one for my gas model? Also before this happened my tractor would start backfiring and stalling after i worked it for an hour or more straight? thanks for any help you guys can give as you can tell from my questions i am a newbie with the tractors...Thanks again, Keith from new york

Regarding the stalling and backfiring, I would recommend that you check the ignition system, (timing, firing order, spark strength(nice, fat, bluish spark), points and condensor, wires)as well as the carburetor mixture. If these are all up to snuff, you'll need to do a compression test.

A radiator repair shop may be able to recore yours for less than you would pay for another one. Might be worth checking out.
