Pulled the head oof the 65 last night, had a blown head gasket, and I also found I"ve got a broken top ring on the #4 cylinder, so I"m gonna rebuiild it, any things to look for while its apart, I was thinking of sending the injectors out to be cleaned(although I don"t know where yet.) I was thinking of doing the clutches as I don"t want to have another thing to do later.

Hi, I rebuilt one of these engines last winter.
Some of the lessons I learned are:
Remove all the parts you are going to replace before you order new ones. I found on my engine that the sleeves were oversized, even the flange at the top was larger.
Also I found a crack on the block where the front axel is bolded on and also the castings were the timing covers join was broken.
Other then these few things, pretty straight forward engine....

Be carful MF used sleeves with .040" and .150"
flange on top. Check block before ordering parts.
