Hi

Lift on my 135 is jerking
So I plan to overhaul hyd pump

Somebody told me that it is not necessary to
split the tractor to remove the pump even if
there is an independant PTO but no Multi-Power
and no aux hyd. It seems that if the pto pump
is for pto only it is possible to remove both
hyd and PTO pumps without splitting the tractor.

Who's right ?

Thanks in advance !

If you do not have Independent pto, multipower or factory auxiliary hydraulic the three point pump can be removed by removing the liftcover and removing the pump out the top. You first have to remove the access plate with the response control lever and the dipstick in it. Then remove the roller from the pump control lever before you raise the liftcover so you do not pull the pump control lever off of the pump. If you have either independent pto, multipower or factory auxiliary hydraulics. It depends if you have the early or late style auxiliary pump for those options. With the late style pump you will definitely have to split the tractor between the rear center housing and the transmission to remove the three point pump. If you have the old auxiliary style pump then you can sometimes unbolt the old style auxiliary pump from it's mounting bracket and then with the three point pump with the auxiliary pump mounting bracket still on three point pump it may come out though the top but a lot of times the auxiliary pump mounting bracket will not pass through the top hole. If not you will still have to split the tractor to get the three point pump out. I hope this is worded to where you can understand what I am saying.email me if I can be of further help Big Dean

Many thanks for your reply !

It may be the early setup the tractor was manufactured in 1966.

Thanks again
