The 17bar pressure switch is located on the hydraulic pump cover at the top right hand corner, just to the rear of the row of solenoids. The pump cover is behind the rear right hand wheel.
You can eliminate the switch by joining the wires up temporarily if this cures it, the switch is dodgy or you have a low oil pressure in the low pressure circuit, if you cant test the pressure and you suspect the switch the only way is to change the switch and try again.
Its worth changing your hydraulic filter to try to over come you heavy steering and check the tick over is not to low it should be 950rpm.
