Can anyone tell me how to go about recharging a brake accumulator on a MF 1100 diesel so I have brakes if the engine dies...or is it a waste of time?

Er, hang on its a while since I drove one but I seem to remember on ours if the engine died all you did was pump the pedals a few times ( I know if the engine was off and you engaged the diff lock, pumping a brake pedal 2 or 3 times made the diff lock lever pop up again, just as it did when you tapped a brake pedal to disengage the diff lock when in work )and the brakes would work, Then all you did was engage the parking lock on the gear change. I remember been told NEVER push down on the brake pedal then start the engine, unless you wanted a broken ankle!
