Did you get hyd pressure sorted? I have similar but more severe problem with a 6170 - light came on PTO, dynashift, 4WD disengage, high box engage all stopped working. Fault permanent - ie doesn"t clear when cold -wondering if you had similar root cause?

It probably isnt low oil pressure that is causing your problem, but a dodgy pressure switch may be to blame, this is the primary safety feature for the autotronic system to work and if the switch sends a signal to the autotronic box it will shut down, so you will have no PTO etc. The pto 4wd diff. lock etc run on a low pressure 17 bar circuit which is maintained by a valve and supplied by the steering side of the pump which runs at a much higher pressure and the first sign that the pump is failing would be tight steering so it wont be the pump.
The only pressure problem would be a leak internally on one of the systems but I would expect the light to stay on permanently when a service such as the PTO was on.

thanks for the info now that u mention it the steering is quite heavy at low speed ( heavier than in a 590) where is the pressure switch located any suggestions on testing it or any other checks that could be done to identify the problem

Fluid getting hot, loosing viscosity? Or loosing volume? Could be dirty. Pump internal tolerances should get tighter with heat. Wouldn't suspect pump.

Is you fluid low? Nine has to be over full to work right in all my tractors. Got a hyd filter that may need changing?
