My Massey Harris Ferguson TO 35 has 24 inch rear wheels. The rims are NOT loop style but instead use 6 clamps to hold them to the center hub. The rims are splitting and need to be replaced. I bought two new rims but they are the 6 loop style. I cannot seem to locate 24 inch center hubs to fit the new rims or the old style rims to fit the existing center hubs. Can anyone offer assistance please?

Hi,

I have the same problem with my to35. The rims that have the 'v' stamped in them are called beveled rims. You most likely have two v's. They were so the offset of the wheels could be changed. Miller Tire company online can take a blank rim and stamp 6 bevels to match your wheel disc. You will have to get nibs welded on the edges to stop the clamps from spinning on the bevel. My original rims have a continuous v with six sets of bumps sticking out that bracket the clamps. They said they can mount 6 loops that are 19.5 inches on center. The "off the shelf rims" are 20.25 inches on center. You need to measure the spacing your discs to see if they would work. The rims cost about $190 a piece delivered. I have seen some newer fords(70's, early 80's) with 24 inch beveled wheels.

Good luck. I still am looking for used ones. Mine are still holding out. I'm not sure how much longer they will last. I did find some one in Ohio 9 months ago who had used rims, tires, and discs for $500. He would not ship.

Dean

Roger if you have a Kubota dealer near you they may have some take off 6 hole 24"centers. I removed the centers from a set of 6 loop 24" rims. I wanted to keep 24" cast centers on my 135. Might be worth a phone call.

Gary-
So if I understand correctly the Kubota center hub will fit the Massey 35?

It would have in my case. However you should measure or have them measured before buying

My 135 is an Orchard Special and has planetary rear axles. They are a larger bolt spacing size than your 35.
Apologies
