The Stewart-Warner line of gauges, with white figures and black backgrounds, is a very good look alike replacement for the original 44 gauges. I do not know what most of the originals were in the 44, but the ones I have seen have an appearance quite similar to the SW gauges I just mentioned. The 44 came with, 1) oil pressure 2) water temperature, and 3) ammeter. Hope this was helpful.

John can furnish you a complete wiring harness made with the same braided wire as the original harness.I had one made for my 1947 44-6.

[email protected] also has them for $95

I don't know what Fred Wolfe carries but he also may have them.
