Thanks to everyone for all their help. After searching thru all the archives I was able to narrow down where my problem was. First, no matter what you might believe DOUBLE CHECK the spark plug wires(firing order)! Second, if you are having a steady miss and trouble starting, check and replace or repair that wire going from the ignition coil to distributor. After a close look, the wire going to the dist was half broken thru. My MF35 z134 now is running 10 times better than it was when I got it. I had rebuilt the carb, thouroughly cleaned the fuel and air bath system, full tune-up with new steel wires, ect., and after all that I firmly believe that little wire was the big cause of all my trouble! This is a great web site..Thanks again

Let me help you. It was probably silver coated copper which looked like steel, Grin.

Yes, solid copper, not resistence, is what you want.

Glad you are up and running. I agree that sometimes we discover something that has been causing trouble for years and what an elation to find out how good it is with it fixed.

Thanks for the feedback cause your feedback gives us know-it-alls fuel to keep blabbin. LMAO.

No, seriously it helps to know what suggestions were effective. Cuts down on the chaff the next time the question arises.
