Hi,

My MF35 with Standard 23C diesel is stuck in reverse. No coaxing or cajoling will get it out. The gear stick has always been loose but never had a problem like this before.

Any ideas?

Kind Regards
Michael Oakes

Upon re-reading my answer I think I have the position of the large gear bass ackwards. So solly!

Very common problem. Remove the hyd. filler plug to the left of the gear lever. Look for a large gear towards the front if stuck in reverse. Use a large screwdriver or similar to slide the gear to the rear. Have the hi/lo in neutral. With all pressure off the drive train it should pop back in place easily. Big Dean can explain this a lot better if this doesn't work. Good luck. Cosmo
