We are working on an MF3660 and found the front drive shaft snapped off next to the front support. Does anyone have a parts breakdown showing this and part numbers? Owner wants to know how much $$ before we begin repair. Thanks.

The drive shaft or the stub coming out of FWA. The drive shaft is aroud $600, couplers around $100 a peice. You can get over a $1000 in part on the inside you have to buy a new ring gear and pinion if the stub is broke. Not to bad to fix. You can have a little trouble getting the what i call ball joint bearings out, but after that the axles just slide out and so on and so. There is a number on the pinion that you"ll have to plug into an equasion if I remeber right it was in French but if I can figure it out YOU"LL HAVE NO PROBLEM. Let me know if you need help.
