Hello Guys,
I have found a nice pony for sale. Not sure of the year but have the guy looking for the serial number. Is there a place where I can find the serial numbers and year for this tractor? Also does the pony have pto? or hydraulics? This one is fairly close but still in the next state, so I haven't looked at it yet. I was considering this tractor and adding a woods belly mower to it, has any had any experience with doing this or if it is even possible. All info on ponys appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Dave,
The serial numbers are on the left of this site. The serial number plate is on the right side of the frame, just below the fan. A lot of times the tag is missing. I mow lawn all summer with a flail type finish mower, and it works very well. All us little red tractor guys gotta stick together!

I am still waiting for the guy to call me back regarding the pony. The picture is really pretty. I need to know if it has pto and hydraulics. I know these were options and I am sure hoping this one has it. What is a fair price for one fully restored?

Dave

The ser. number is on the right frame, but out of normal sight. It's right about in line with the fan. The later ones came with hydraulics, unless it was an option. The pto and belt pulley was also optional . The early Pony that I have has a manual lift. You can get a Woods mower for them if you have the lift, they make a great lawn mower, unless you live in an apartment
