Massey Harris 33 fender mounting

I am restoring a Massey Harris 33, I am tring to get it back as original as I can, I am ready to bolt the fenders back on and was woundering if originaly the fenders were bolted on to the checker plate with hex bolts or carriage bolts.
any input would be appreciated.

On all my massey tractors the fenders and checker plates are bolted together with carriage bolts.The bolts going into the bolt holes on the houseing are regular hex head bolts.

Checked my 44 for you today.The bolts on it are all hex bolts.
