I was wondering about a comparison of these 4 tractors. I have a lot of experince with the 1100 but what are the differences with these others. Looking to go pulling against some stout IH 10-1466 as well as JD 4430 What tractor should i go for that can be reduced on weight. Want one with factory turbo if possible. What is the potential for the 354? Can i get it to run 400 horse? Seems like the IH an JD guys are getting this many HP. Anyone with experience or tips would be appresiated.

They all have the same engine but the 1105 1130 1135 are turboed. To beat a 1066 1466 4430 I would suggest going to a 1150 1155 adding the correct turbo, having the injection pump rebuilt for pulling and going to big injectors.I pulled a 1150 for years that I also farmed with. You can get that tractor down to 8500lbs if you take everything off that you don't need. I could run road gear at 8500 lbs.You would have to spend a lot more money trying to get the hp out of a 354 perkins.
