Why is it that you don't see any MF's on the TV shows like RFDTV? Even at the shows they have on TV they don't show any Massey's there. Always them green, orange or other red tractors!!!

I like the Massey tractors and like to paint them with the yellow wheels and red main parts. They are beautiful when finished. I am also a real farmer, the only job I ever had, farming several acres and having a cow herd in the past. Now for the rest of the story, you cannont farm any cheaper than using a good line of J D equipment. The J D company is way ahead with research and the latest technology, latest improvements and good sound operating tractors. Where ever farming is predominate look around and see what kind of equipment the farmers use who stay in business. I'v owned new M F V8s but not now.

Now, Now, I wasn't trying to start a fight, my collection includes all colors, I was just wondering why the Massey Fergusons don't seem to be very collectable, sure you see a few MH around but not to many MF tractors. I think part of it could be because the early iron is so facinating, like my early automobiles, but some of my 60's era cars are now getting attention, maybe in another 10 years a 59 MF65 will make a calendar photo.

Hi,

Prices all depend on location. Up here where I am JD and CNH are the most expensive tractora on the market. ( CNH , then JD ) and depending on where you are, the MF has the highest resale on the market!!

Its all on the location!!

Take care

Will

Who's going to do the work if the Masseys are all in the beauty contests?

Im the same way gary,
Im sooo tired of that darn green thing,s I could scream,
I tell people that lets put a log chain on a JD and a V8 Massey,
& then see who pull,s who around the field,
It would be the massey for sure,
I like all massey,s,and the V8,s I adore,
theres no sound like them anywhere,
I like 2000 series tractors, but I would buy a clean 1155, cause its more reliable,
less complex than the 2700,s,
