I replaced my fuel filters on my MF 175. I am unable to get the fuel lined primed again to run the tractor. I use starting fluid to get tractor running but I can"t get the fuel to pull through. Tractor has the self priming fuel pump. I"ve tried filling the filters with fuel, etc. Ant ideas?

There is not a self priming CAV fuel system on the Massey Ferguson tractors when you change the fuel filters the fuel system has to be bled. I have a picture with instructions on how to bleed the fuel system If you will send me a Email address I can email it to you

Follow Operator Manual closely and you will have no problems. You must manually pump the fuel lift pump, while bleeding each of 2 plugs on the injection pump. This would have been the end of the procedure if you had followed the first time, but now that your have used wrong approach, you will have to follow the Operator Manual closely and bleed the injectors. And my advice about the starting fluid is to throw it away. You may have already broken a ring or two on the Perkins.
